Here are a few stages of the moon flower opening. It was very cool to watch the progress. I think it took about 30 minutes.
My brother Jason and his lovely wife, Becca
My little sister had a birthday! She is holding the market bag I knit for her. One of the few things I have knit that I was truly happy with the finished object. I might have to make one for myself.
My parents have those planted & I always loved sitting out & watching them open up... so cool to actually watch them "Move" when budding open!! Such neat little flowers!
ReplyDeleteNeat! I have a crocheted market bag a friend made that I use for everything. It's great for taking packages to the pack 'n mail, because the thing really seems to have no limits. It just stretches more and more...
ReplyDeleteOh, the market bag is FABULOUS!!

I've never seen that flower open up. Thanks so much for sharing the photos! It brightened my day!
ReplyDeleteAnd nice bag...glad you made something you were really happy with..definitely make one for yourself!
Love the bag, I want one!!!
ReplyDeleteI was just waiting to read down so I could exclaim over the moonflower, and then, look at that bag! Look how happy your sister is--and rightfully so!
ReplyDeleteSo does that mean you two have almost the same birthday?
