Dogs On Thursday!
It must be the end of the Summer season, because Starsky and Hutch went to the pool. The local aquatic center had it's second annual Pooch Plunge.
They loved running around in the sand volleyball court and the playground.
This was about as close as Hutch wanted to get.
There were so many black labs and lab mixes that we kept losing Starsky. The beautiful Great Dane below lost her leg to cancer.
I think that most all of the dogs had a great time. We can't wait until next year!
That looks like fun!
ReplyDeleteSonya...this is aMazing! What community does this wonderful FUN day! What a delight! GREAT photos!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful dogs! Starsky and Hutch must have really enjoyed their day!
I think Hutch is thinking about it!
I really enjoyed this-thanks for sharing their fun! Enjoy DOT & your weekend!
Wow, I didn't know they did that! Buddy would have loved it! Looks like everyone 2 & $ legged had a grand time!
ReplyDeleteMost of the pools in St. Louis County have a final Puppy Day. I would take Grover, but he is a big baby and won't get in the water. Looks like everybody at your pool had a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteOh what fun! The dogs and their people look like they are having a wonderful time. :)
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun way to end the summer. Wish there are pools around here that would do the same, Bucky will have a lot of fun.
ReplyDeleteOkay, now I've got the Beach Boys on the brain, singing, "Woofn't it be nice..."
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing! What a cool event! Now that I have a black dog, I definitely can see the issues with losing him in the crowd -- I kept looking at the photos and wondering which dog was Starsky. As long as you took the right dogs home, it's all good.
ReplyDeletethat place looks very cool! what fun for the pups!
ReplyDeleteLooks like FUN!!! My local pool does this as well but I have not been yet.
ReplyDeleteI had no idea they let dogs in - even if its a certain time of the year - I HAVE to know when it is for next time around - my dogs - especially my lab & Aussie will LOVE it!!!
ReplyDeleteHow awesome is that!? I wish we had something like that here, I think Zeus would really like it. He is usually fired up after a bath. Then again, he can be apprehensive about new things sometimes, so it's hard to tell.
