    Hi, there!

    I won't bother to block the Opera Scarf because the yarn is superwash and thicker than called for on the pattern. If you use the alpaca called for, then I would definitely block it.

    I was told that Kool-Aid won't take to cotton, but you may want to check on that before you try it.

    Monterey Bay Aquarium? I definitely recognize some of the exhibits from there. It's an incredible and powerfully effective place for learning to appreciate the creativity inherent in this planet. I have a daughter leaving in a week for a Marine Biology college internship. Guess where she wants to go back to visit before she takes off. ("Mom! I want to see the *penguins*!")

    This is one of my favorite songs. I did not pay attention to the location. Just the visual with the song.
