Look what I bought
From White Oak Studio. I tried to take my own photo but it was not doing it justice. The yarn is so much more beautiful in person. How do you buy yarn?? I buy yarn with my heart not my head. I see, it speaks to me but does not tell me what it wants to be just that I must buy it. So I have 225 yards of wonderful 100% sport weight merino wool, from Louet Gems. It is hand painted. You have to go check it out. It is called The Pink Panther. What am I going to make? Right now I have no idea. But I am satisfied just admiring it.
Wow, that is striking. I like it a lot. Can't wait to see what you make!
ReplyDeleteLove the yarn! Reminds me of neopolitan ice cream but without the calories hehe
ReplyDeleteThe more open the lace pattern, the more you can get out of a single skein. I'm looking at it, thinking, maybe little arrowhead lace, size 10s (at least at my gauges), 31 stitches/5 repeats, yadda yadda. Can you tell I've made a few of those? Anyway--fun yarn, and the name is perfect!
ReplyDeleteOOO I'm liking those colors Sonya!!
ReplyDeleteI don't think it matters what you make with this, it's going to be fabulous!
ReplyDeleteOMG that yarn rocks. It is just delectable. Let us know what you do with it!
ReplyDeleteOooh, love those colors!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the yarn! Am glad to know I'm not the only one who was having issues with the Jacqueline headband! :/
ReplyDeletePS - just added you to my fave blogs on my blog!
