I guess I should tell on myself. This past week has been an extra extra kids bickering, fighting, being mean to each other week. So as they were fighting over some cookies this afternoon, I suffered a momentary break of reality and proceeded to stomp the living shit out of the gallon sized baggie of some really good homemade cookies. We now have a 1/2 baggie of cookie crumbs/dust. If we had ice cream I guess we could sprinkle the crumbs on top....

Oh, my, I remember the days. It's okay to be normal, just so you know that. (Wrote the mother of four kids in six years.) That cookie crumb batch would make the good base for a cheesecake, you know.
ReplyDeleteThat is a very good idea Alison,
ReplyDeletethanks.
LMAO What did the kids do!?!?
ReplyDeleteThey were a little speechless. Then started throwing "it's your fault" back and forth at each other. Mostly just the boys, Olivia really tries to stay out of stuff. But she has her moments too.
ReplyDeleteHee. Some days are like that!
ReplyDeleteBut you feel better, right? ha ha... I know I would have!
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm sorry things have been so hectic for you! I know those days...really I do. Did you have a nice Mother's Day at least? Sending hugs....
ReplyDeleteSonya, thanks for visiting my blog and thanks for the kind words on my blanket. I'm rather proud of my handy work as you see :-) Cookie crumbs on ice cream sounds great. Glad you could take it with a light heart, usually I get too invovled in my own anger to enjoy the food.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great Mother's Day!
Sometimes moms have to wig out to get the kids' attention. I'm falling on the floor laughing as I imagine the looks on their faces while you're doing the "Cookie Stomp"!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad glad I'm not the only one who has the occasional flipout! Cookie crumbs on ice cream sounds great.
