I've got the Blues!

And boy am I happy. Jodi sent me some great stuff. Two hanks of Knit Picks Gossamer (blue Jeans colorway) my very first lace weight yarn. Two big balls of Rowan biggy print and a mitten pattern to go with it. A super size ball of Sugar'n Cream cotton and a round dishcloth pattern. I will have to use the dried blueberries soon or John will eat them all. Did you see the scone recipe? And a few other goodies too.
Swaps are really fun.

  4. YAY! I'm so glad it arrived safe and sound. I'm just double-checking to make sure I didn't space out and forget to put in a skein of periwinkle blue Frog Tree alpaca worsted weight yarn. If I forgot, please let me know!

  5. I have a lovely Frog Tree Merino that was in the package. It is toward the back if the photo. So far the consenus is blueberry pancakes instead of scones.

  6. Excellent! I do see it in the back now. I can tell I've been spending far too much time grading and reading lately -- my eyes are missing things.

Pancakes sound lovely, too -- like something the whole family can enjoy. I don't think kids usually like scones quite as well
