Knitting last week
It is knitting night again and I have yet to even talk about last week. Been a long crazy week. We had a wonderful time at the new place. The guest of honor, Lora, was there. That is Olivia cheese'in with Lora. We liked the new place but it was a little dark. Ruth(second from left) is one of the two preggos we have and she has been a very busy knitting bee. She is a middle school art teacher and is spending her summer wisely.
Her little guy will be the best dressed baby around. He will be the envy of all the other babies. We are back to our regular knitting spot tonight. Lora will soon be teaching me to knit two socks at the same time. I had to search all over town to find the size 3, 40" addis. There are 4 LYS in the area, not counting Hobby Lobby or Dee's and the one that is almost 30 mins away had them in. My sweet hubby who thinks I have too much yarn, stopped and got the needles for me. So I hope to have some socks to show ya'll soon. 
Wow, aren't those baby things just gorgeous!!!! I wouldn't think of having my husband pick up anything knitterly or spinning wise for me. He certainly doesn't need to know the cost of things. :)
ReplyDeleteI thought the same thing right after he said he would pick them up for me. But it was too late then. So far it has not come back to bite me in the ass yet.

ReplyDeleteRuth is a knitting machine!!! Her baby will never go cold :) I love the little yellow wrap outfit, so sweet!
